Founded in February 2011, The Concordia Summit is a non-profit organization seeking to develop private/public partnerships around pressing global issues. In an effort to foster these relationships, Concordia hosts an annual summit to be held each year. Each summit will bring together both world leaders and leaders of global corporations to analyze and discuss the respective roles of government and the private sector in tackling issues.

On September 20th, 2011 the inaugural event of The Concordia Summit took place in Manhattan to discuss the issue of extremism. Featuring President George W. Bush, President Mikheil Saakashvili of Georgia, President Aleksander Kwasniewski of Poland and President Alvaro Uribe of Colombia, the summit laid the groundwork to the development of formal partnerships to combat the growing population of extremists around the world that enable terrorism to exist.
